Thousands of Homeless People. A Handful of Volunteers Working To Make A Difference.
We are volunteers that come from different churches and ministries around Oahu. We walk with Jesus in our hearts doing all that He calls us to do. We feed, clothe, heal and preach The Word of God.
Our missions is to feed and clothe the homeless as we share the Word of God with them. We also connect them to services they need.
Our vision is to set them free, get them off the streets and contributing to society. Then teaching them how to go back into the streets to lead others to do the same. Any business with a surplus of inventory please consider donating.
We need more volunteers, We need donations. Partnering with businesses will open up resources. Working with government agencies will make it easier to transition them.
We could use food, clothes, blankets, hygiene, or anything else you think may help them. If you're a restaurant with extra food, please consider donating it.
Churches and small groups are welcome to serve.
We unload our vehicles and set up the tent, tables, benches, and audio equipment.
We go around the block in all directions calling people in. Then we call everyone who are in the park.
When they come in we register them by taking their names, some basic info and we give them a name tag.
We have them take a seat while we hand out fruits and bottles of water to hold them over until lunch.
We play praise and worship, and hand out song books so they can sing along. Sometimes we have live music.
We pick a chapter from the Bible and go over it in depth. We focus on the New Testament and Jesus.
We serve a hot lunch that's usually prepared by one of our volunteers. Or we may buy pizzas from Costco.
As they're eating we go around and talk with them. We try to find out if they know Jesus and how we can help.
Right before we hand out donations, we have them line up so that we can pray for each one individually.
After they receive prayer, they can look through all the donations We usually have clothes, hygiene, snacks and more.
We clean the area of all rubbish. Some of them hang around to help us. Then we pack up all the equipment.
We love to end our day by going to the Ala Moana food court to eat, recap, and brainstorm ideas.

There's a high demand for clothes. We usually run out when we do outreaches. Shirts, shorts and pants are always useful. Jackets and blankets help with cold nights. Towels are in demand. Shoes, socks and underwear are good too.
The food that's donated goes a long way in feeding people. We hand out fruits when they arrive Then we serve them a hot meal and bottles of water after the Word. Then we give them snacks after prayers.
We buy Bibles, food, water, blankets, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, feminine hygiene, trash bags, song books, prizes, gifts, benches, tents, sound equipment, and more. If you'd like to make a monetary donation please come down to the Blaisdell Park on Tuesday evenings (address is below), or call (808) 393-6423 to make arrangements.
We're at Neal S. Blaisdell Park every Tuesday at 5:00, under the pavillion next to the bathroom. We also do outreach at many other locations every month. Sign up to our newsletter to be updated. (Newsletter coming soon)
